Does your significant other get paternity leave? How much and where are you from?

My husband is US Navy and gets 10 days, and that comes out of his leave/vacation time and they may not approve it for right after birth.

My husband has tons of vacation time and he gets two weeks paid paternity 🙌🏼🙏🏼 so thankful for that!!

At my work, non birthing spouses get 8 weeks of paid leave that you can take with a year of birth! I have many colleagues who take their pat leave right after their wives mat leave so one of them can be home for a longer period of time. Unfortunately, my husband doesn't work for my company. :(

In the UK standars paternity leave is 2 weeks and you get up to £140 a week. If the new Labour government get in it will double

My husband will have four weeks of personal time. He doesn't get paternity but he'll probably only have about a week and a half by the time baby comes because of vacations, being sick once in a while, and a sewer project we are trying to do ourselves.

Mine gets 2 weeks paid at statutory and he can take 2 weeks annual leave. We can also share maternity leave! Not that we will lol x

I'm in Brazil and my husband gets five consecutive days off. He's a medical resident so that's their policy. Don't know what it is for none doctors though.

Tell him to try and do a 4 day pass on the weekends and tack on an extra week if he has it saved up . Mines in military taking 10 days paternity leave 4 day pass and 6 more days off so 20 total . I don't know all the details but that's what he said & I didn't fight it :)

No. I mean my husband owns his own business so he can take off for a few weeks with me but he obviously isn't getting paid if he isn't working:/.
