If I ask for a membrane sweep will she do it?

At my next appointment I will be 39+6 (my due date is literally the next day) 
If I ask my ob to do a membrane sweep will she do it or will she tell me no because she didn't suggest it first?

I'm 39 weeks and 3 days and my OB asked me today at my appointment if I'd like her to do it. I said yes please! Lol. It honestly wasn't as bad as I had anticipated and now I'm feeling crampy. So we'll see. 🤞🏻

I had one at 39+2 last week. Seeing her again tomorrow will be 40+2

My doc said he will most likely do one at my next appt, and I'll be 1 day shy of 40 weeks. It makes me nervous. Right now I'm still content to let the baby decide what's going on.

My doctor said they're ok with it after 39 weeks. Doesn't hurt to ask! I had one last week and it did nothing for me

I asked my dr at 38 weeks and she did it. The only way she said she would have said no is if I hadn't been dilated at all... I was at a 1. Good luck! That was 6 days ago for me and nothing happened :(
