boyfriend of two years and it doesn't feel right
Sorry for the long post in advance
So my boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 1/2 years almost. He lives about two hours away from where I live. I have a crazy job opportunity where I am and I'm moving up in the school where I work. I also have other obligations where I live that are important to me and he definitely knows that. He absolutely refuses to move where I am. He said if it's not where he is but it's nowhere it off. The background story he was engaged to the same girl twice and she left for a similar reason because she had a wonderful job opportunity in her hometown and he didn't want to leave his family. So I am one struggling with this issue of neither of us wanting to leave our hometowns.
But I am also struggling with the fact that he told me over a year ago he wanted to break up with me but didn't because he knew I wouldn't be able to handle life without him. This is not the case at all in my opinion, I don't understand why he stayed another year. I am definitely struggling with this and he said that he doesn't regret staying. He has become super distant lately and not encouraging at all. He said that he won't be encouraging her put effort into our relationship until I do. But I also have a full-time job a part-time job and I'm in graduate school so it's hard.
At this point I really don't know what to do anymore, I do love him and we've had so much time together. But I don't know if I see it working out anymore. Any opinions advice or anything of the sorts would be greatly appreciated.
