Advice needed! 2 weeks PP and heavy bleeding

Haven't bleed in about 5 days and I'm 2 weeks PP today.. Well, I was feeling extra tired earlier and alittle nauseous but didn't think much about it. Then I was in the bathroom brushing my daughters hair when I felt a warm gush all the sudden it felt just like when I was bleeding from my miscarriage. The bleeding has continued and random gushes with some clots for 3 hours now. I've soaked through a big hospital pad and a normal pad in the 3 hours. I messaged one of the doctors in my doctors office  and she said "You could have bleeding (like a period) for 6-8 weeks following a cesarean - even if the bleeding stops it can start again - if you're bleeding more than a pad an hour, have fever, are light headed or have palpitations then you should see the doctor or go to the ER" 

I'm hoping it's just normal after c-section and tubal bleeding? I really don't want togo to the ER if it's nothing and just really want togo to bed but I'm alittle worried.
