Red swollen left breas

My left breast is swollen and has a red spot. Where the res spot is the skin feels lile a hive.. its a little raised and my hair follicles are pronounced. Sometimes it is itchy but not really. Not hot to touch and lumps noted. Went to the dr and they also didnt feel lumps and did not suspect infection.. they said we wouls keep an eye on it.. is anyone else having or has has the same experience.. im extremly worried
