Shark Ultralight Rocket or Dyson V8

I currently have the Dyson V6 and I'm generally happy with it, but it doesn't clean my whole house without the battery running out. Also, sometimes I wish the suction was better, and it often "spits" out bigger debris that I try to suck up. I've heard the Dyson V8 fixes most of these issues, but I recently saw an add for the new Shark Ultralight Rocket with Duoclean technology and I'm smitten! My house is all hardwood (with tile in the kitchen) and rugs in the bedrooms, in case that makes a difference. Has anyone tried both? Is anyone in love with their Dyson V8 or Shark Rocket? Let me know what you love or hate!
