is it normal to have dark hairs around your nipples and belly button?

I hate them so much. I always feel self conscious when my boyfriend and I are getting sexual or when he kisses my stomach. It's not a lot of them. It's just enough for me to notice. Is there a way to get rid of them? I'm 16, so could it just be hormones? I have no clue as to why they're there.

Yes it's normal. No need to be embarrassed!! Usually I will pluck the big ones around my nipples out every so often with my fingers in the shower but it's not really an issue. Men don't really notice anyway.

Not to worry girl! I have them around  my nipples too. It's common. I just go at them with a tweezer every couple of weeks. Problem solved :) 👍🏽

It's normal. I have it as well! I hate it and I'm very insecure about it too. I also have hair on my lower back and bum and it's embarrassing. BUT my boyfriend tells me not to be embarrassed about these things because it's normal since I naturally have dark hair. It's okay to have it, I don't know about getting rid of it though. I haven't tried anything besides plucking the hairs on my belly and shaving the inside of my bum 😳😬 best of luck!
