6w1day bright red spotting for 24 hrs, now nothing.

My next scan isn't for 2 weeks and ob won't do another hcg. I thought this was going to be another MC but spotting lasted 1 day and now no more blood. My ob offered to do a vaginal scan but I declined as the last time i miscarried shortly after. Anyone gone through this and baby was healthy?
