This is abuse of power imo, because VOICE, is set up to help victims of abuse and now the DOJ, circumvents that to set up a database to help with immigration reform (of victims whom are not dangerous) based on the victim's status. If I were working as a victim advocate I would put their status as legal, then forge ahead to undermine the database through legal channels; because these victims have due process rights, and they have the right to seek refuge from danger where ever it comes from and from whom ever.

Unacceptable, but on par for the justice system when it comes to domestic violence. As a freaking citizen, it's hard to keep your address off of public records. I had the court, when filing a restraining order, tell me the order itself would contain my address.

It's a ridiculous system.
