clit piercing

So about a month and a half ago I got my vhc pierced and said said after a month I could change it so I got a pretty ring but now it's the first day and my clit is itchy. I mean it was hard to change so I may have stretched and stressed it and ik that inching is a sign of healing. I just need opinions??
