I hired a LC to come to my house bc my fiancé didn't want me taking baby to WIC for a free LC bc he was scared the baby got sick cause we saw sick kids there when I went during my pregnancy.. so this lady gets here and was on her cell the entire time and also made the most discouraging comment ever "you're gonna think I'm crazy and won't want to breastfeed when I leave here".. after suggesting that I let baby suck air from bottle 5 times and milk 5 times after and repeat the pattern so she could learn to "work for her milk" now, I know this is a method some ppl swear by but my baby was in pain the entire night from sucking in air !! It was sooo painful to see her in pain, my poor baby.. she also examined my babies mouth and said she has a posterior tongue tie and that's why she can't latch.. I've taken her to two different pediatricians and they both said that's impossible to clip.. I just can't believe I spent 175$ .. she was so rude & discouraging :( it's been 2-3 weeks and with all the Texting and taking calls she was doing during the session I can't believe she hasn't texted or called me to ask me how breastfeeding is going or if I have any questions or simply just to be nice ! :/ sorry I just had to vent.. such a bad experience
