So I was talking to my SIL about finding out I'm pregnant. She seems to be very worried about me getting a papsmear, because she said that she miscarried after having her papsmear at her first appointment & she has talked to other women who had the same thing happen. In my state they will not allow me to have a papsmear until I'm 21. I just turned 21 May 5th & I just became pregnant so I haven't been able to get one already. I've called everywhere in my area, no one will do anything further then a breast exam that I've already had last year. So now I'm worried because I've never been able to have one & im sure they'll want to give me one. Does papsmears really cause miscarriages?? Has this happened to any of you ladies?
