Which birth control?

Question

There's no doubt that I want birth control.
But there are some side affects that are pushing me away from it. With the depo shot weight gain is a good pro ( for me ) but I'm afraid for my libido. Or the periods FOR MONTHS.

Please share your experiences with the depo shot or  any other birth control. What's your favorite birth control?

I was on the depo shot for almost 5 years... I went from weighing 95lbs to 176lbs in less than 3 months I didn't have any periods I had horrible mood swings increased sex drive and bone marrow loss I would personally never recommend it to anyone... I don't want to say it ruined my life but it definatelly made it difficult especially when I was in high school all the rumors going around that I was prego because how much weight I gained so quickly and ended up breaking someone's nose by accidently back handing them out of frustration.... I was on lorana and it made me so sick in the stomach I stopped taking it got prego had my gorgeous daughter now on the mini pill so far so good 4 days down..

I'm going for my next shot June 5th. When I got it my arm was sore for a whole week, i was spotting everyday for a month then for a month I didn't get it at all for my last month I got my period 14 days but it was a very very light period you could get away with liners!!!!! So when I got it I had headaches 3-4 times a week, mood ness but that's all. It's pretty good in my opinion. I gain 5 pounds cause it makes you want to eat a lot but I'm working out. Get it and if you don't want to get it again just don't and try another one.
