AMAZING NEWS

On Thursday I posted on here, extremely upset. We went to the doctor for my 12 week ultrasound... and they told us that the baby had fluid behind the neck and they were EXTREMELY concerned. They did a CVS test on me, but were only expecting a 10-15% chance of a normal, healthy baby at delivery. The genetic specialist just called me, and the CVS preliminary results have come back completely normal. There will be more growth on the CVS, but they are expecting normal results. I can't believe they had us so scared. I spent the last 5 days in my bed, crying, not understanding why this would happen to us. My first appt the NP told us that I was very low risk, 26 years old, healthy, with no genetic history in either my husband or my family... this was a complete shock on Thursday. They were SO sure that something was seriously wrong. Once the rest of the testing comes back early next week, then there will be a completely normal % of a normal baby at deliver.
