I need help! STD??

Question

Okay so long story short. I had unprotected sex with this guy I had been talking to for a while and we recently stopped talking. Like we still talk as friends but we never became anything more. Well I also recently got tested and I came out positive for chlamydia.   It's a non life threatening std, thank god. I need help!! How do I tell this guy that I might have given him an std without him getting mad or think bad of me.

Rip it off like a band aid. Telling someone they should get tested is never fun (for either of you) make sure he's alone because I'm sure he's not going to want it broadcasted, and do it as soon as you can! It'll be awkward as hell but hopefully you guys will be able to laugh about it later.

In my experience, the one time I told a guy I had a one night stand with, that I tested positive for chlamydia, I was cussed out, convinced I was the one who passed it along, which I wasn't, shamed, then thrown under the bus and was put on full blast. My advice, just tell him and get it over with, but be ready for an adverse reaction.

Did he ever test and tell you better yet showed you results? If "no" then how can you know he didn't give it to you & also he can't get get mad because did he ask for you to test or for test results? NO. Both equally in the same lane here. This is why you can't be having unprotected sex unless you know it's safe too & also if you know they are not sleeping with other's as they can be clean go screw someone and catch something and bam you got something now. Also why you should ask to see results before sleeping and be testing every so often. Anyways I would say you tested and came up + if he tries some bs ask him did he test before you? Etc
