Birth control?

In 2011 I got pregnant while on birth control, we have been trying for a baby now for 4 years with no luck, I've been on clomid, letrozole, had all the tests done and so hasn't my so and yet nothing, I was wondering if any of you ladies went back kn birth control regulated your cycle and than got pregnant. Is it a good idea, is it a bad idea. I see my doctor next Tuesday and am going to ask about it. I would just like some input.
