Finally finding a guy for me?!?!?

So long story short I have been in love with my best friend for the entire time I've been friends with him. We have had numerous talks on how we aren't right for each other and I think I've finally accepted that.

In other news I met a guy at my friends graduation party and I have never been happier. He's tall, in the Air Force,loves animals, and thinks I'm totally gorgeous. There are many other reasons why I like him but I didn't wanna make a super long post 😂 Needless to say I think I have finally found a person that I can honestly say might become my boyfriend. Pray for me it's still in the beginning stages. 😊

Take it slow. Remember everyone puts on their best face in the beginning. Once that honeymoon phase is over you see the real them. Takes a good 6-12 months minimum to really get to know someone. Been with my guy 4.5 years and I still learn things that I didn't know before. Think with your head not your emotions or hormones. They blind you and you think he 💩 rainbows in the beginning. Once that Gaga veil is lifted then you see the real them and learn what you can and can't tolerate. No one comes out day one and says hi I'm a jerk or controlling or abusive. They suck you in and then guilt and manipulate you. Take your time and take things slow. A lot of guys tell you what you want to hear to get what they want. Actions speak louder than words. His effort and actions dictate his intentions. Take it slow. And good luck.
