why hasn't he asked me out yet???

We went to the waterpark the other day and after that we were in his truck and he asked if we could kiss and I said yes and he kissed me and it felt so great! That was my first kiss and then after that we were cuddling I his truck and that was my favorite part! It was so fun!! 
But he hasn't asked me out yet and idk why?  It's like we are dating but we are just friends. Isn't it obvious that I like him too? So why hasn't he asked me out?should I talk to him about this?

Take things slow. Be his friend first. If you come one as desperate or clingy or just too much guys back off or know they can take advantage and use you. Guys tell you what you want to hear to get what they want. Sometimes they get what they want or not fast enough and get bored and move on. Just keep your guard up with guys. So many of them don't value or respect you. Be smart. Think with your head not your emotions or hormones. Take it slow.
