my boyfriend and i have been talking about doing anal. it used to just be a joke to spice up our love life but now he won't stop talking about it every time we have sex. i'm scared to do because i'm scared it will hurt. any advice ladies?

Definitely use as much lube as you can. But more than that, before you start having anal sex, try working your way up to it with toys - try butt plugs, small dildos, things like that, and do some research on which toys are anal-safe! Use lube on them and a condom with lube on the dildos so that you get used to the sensation. The best anal is the kind you work up to, and you should take your time! This doesn't need to happen all in one session - draw it out over a few weeks or more in order to get comfortable but also ramp up the anticipation if you enjoy it!
