anxiety about labor
Last night I couldn't sleep all night because I was having anxiety about giving birth. Of course I'm scared of complications and the pain, but last night i was stressing about visitors. My boyfriend has a huge family and sometimes they can be a little invasive. Do most people let their significant others call their families when we are on our way to the hospital? I already told him I just want us two in the room during labor. He said everyone can wait outside. At this point I'm stressed about thinking of having people come in right after I give birth. I don't know how I'm going to feel. I am thinking to just take a play it by ear approach, but this is my first kid so I really have no idea how the whole visitor situation is and if it's stressful having a bunch of visitors after delievery. This may sound dumb to worry about but I like my privacy in general and I know I probably will during such an intimate moment. Help?
