Where is your baby's car seat located ?

My daughter is 6 months old and I have always had her car seat set up in the middle seat. A few weeks ago my cousin picked her up, got her settled in and I noticed she was placed in the seat behind the passenger seat!! I found it completely weird !! Just looking to see what others do.

The middle seat in my car does not provide a safe installation for the car seat so my daughter is RF on the passenger side.

It depends on how the vehicle is set up, some don't have anchors for the center

Middle is safest with a caveat: if you have a center console (btwn the driver and passenger seat) that opens, that can flip back in an accident. Mine is behind the passenger but only because my car seat has an antirebound leg that doesn't work in the middle

I had her in the middle but I drive an SUV and it was super hard for me to get her in and out of the car.  I had to literally climb in on the seat.  If I didn't climb into the car I had to be on my tiptoes and usually can't lift the seat.  When we transition her to the convertible car seat I can't imagine her being in the middle.

My lo is behind the driver seat. But I have a minivan and there is no middle seat in the middle row. And my other kids get in and out of the passenger side.

Just make sure if you install in the middle seat you check your user manual for your car. Most cars you cannot share the anchor clips and you would need to install it with the seatbelt instead. I didn't know this and had mine installed wrong for quite a while before I learned

I have twins so I have one on the left and one on the right lol BUT if I only had one they would be in the middle seat

Newborn car seat I put in the middle. Front facing I would put behind the passenger.
