Vaccines??!!? New mom to newborn here!

Question

So, first off, I'd like to say we have a 12 yr old son and 9 year old G/B twins. They got all their shots on time without even thinking about it. & my 12 year old actually needs shots on the 20th, for the 7th grade.

Fast forward to the present. We have a newborn baby boy. SOOO...... It's obviously been a while since we've done the NB stage & I feel like a FTM again especially since so much has changed since our oldest was a baby!  
Including vaccines. 
Back then,  people werent as passionate about "not doing vaccines"as some are today.

With that,  I have to ask...  Since the time is coming up,  WHY!!!!? What's the reason that some ppl aren't vaccinating their babies/children???!! Should I be worried about his shots!?  
Ive always been the one to get all shots on time. 
And I plan to do the same with our new son. 
UNLESS there is some crazy new info out there about shots,  that I haven't came across.

I kinda assume that the shots are given for a reason. Ya know?! 
To protect out childrens health.  Their lives!

If you are a parent that chooses to not do vaccinations,  could you tell me your reasons? or... Just give me a good website that explains your reasons to not vaccinate.

His shots are due in just a few weeks. And as of now,  I think it'd be more crazy not to have them done. However, I would really like to know the medical reasons why some people skip vaccines.

If you want to know the medical reasoning. Speak to a medical professional. Don't get your information from forums, blogs, Facebook, etc.

People do wanna do it because they think it causes autism when in fact the dr who said it was proven false & he even came out & said he lied about his research & retracted his claim

Vaccinating your children should be a given. It actually goes against my religion to NOT vaccinate if able.

There is no research showing that vaccines are bad for our children.

But then again there are research articles showing how each individual ingredient is bad for our body.

There are also no research articles on the short and long term effects of the American Vaccine schedule.

Most research articles on vaccines were funded by companies that make vaccines.   
 
But if you don't vaccinate your child can catch various diseases.

Honestly, do your own research and make the decision for yourself. Don't let anyone else tell you how to be a mom. Look out for your children as much as you can and you will be the best mom ever whether you vaccinate or not.

I selectively vaccinate on a delayed schedule. I research what is in the vaccines and how they are made. I also look at what the risks are of I don't. An excellent website for a compilation of good sources is vaxxedghemovie.com Yes I know it's a biased website because it's a documentary on the alternative facts behind vaccines, but if you're looking to find out what all the reasons are that people are exercising more caution about them, they have a Resources tab that has the best collective resources on the alternative (non-mainstream, non-government funded, non-CDC, non biased pro-vaccine) science. My 18 month old has had some of the vaccines. My 4 month old has not yet had any. They are both perfectly healthy and my 4 month old is actually far more advanced and even healthier than my 18 month old was at her age (and she had some of the vaccines that I would have refused or delayed had I don't more research back then). My husband and I have never had the flu shot and never had the flu. But everyone else in my family are vaccine fanatics, they get it every year, they nearly always have the flu (and yes its usually the strain the vaccine was created for).

Take a look at this poll and It's many arguments FOR vaccination. Those who choose not to vaccinate make the choice to pit everyone else at risk because of misguided and backward misinformation. Vaccines do NOT cause autism, they may have some scary sounding ingredients, but in miniscule amounts and each serving a vital purpose. You're vaccinated children are fine, and so will your NB with their vaccines.

I don't get a flu shot and have never gotten the flu but since I'm home almost everyday all day I rely on hubby having his and protecting us both

You need to just look at research on both sides and weigh up the pros and cons i.e. Does the risk of measles outweigh the risk of vaccine injury? 
Check out the ingredients in the vaccines and their effects, the effectiveness of the vaccines, the rates of serious illness/ death by the diseases being vaccinated against in first world countries, read stories from real people about vaccine injuries. There's a whole court dedicated to compensating those affected by injuries. 
Nobody an make this choice for you. Just be informed on both sides of the argument.

A lot of the people I talk to have an issue due to the studies done in other countries on the MMR vaccine. It's been banned in Japan due to the numerous incidents of bad reactions to the combo vaccine. These reactions were not seen with the single doses that used to be offered in the US. I don't believe Japan is the only place to have banned it but I don't remember who all has banned to combo vaccine. What's odd is, while it is being banned elsewhere for its negative effects on children, it is being pushed in the US so much so that the single dose vaccines have now been banned here even though they are safer. They make less money and therefore have been banned. There is no third party who tests vaccines unlike with other pharmaceuticals. So the people testing them are they people who lose money if there is an issue. Meaning there is a conflict of interest. So you never know if the information given in the US is because it's actually true or because that specific answer will make them more money.
