When Does breastfeeding baby sleep through Night?

Answer

It depends on the baby really. Her first 3 weeks I had to wake her up every 2-3 hours to eat at night because she was slow to gain weight and wouldn't wake up on her own. Once she started gaining weight again she goes 4-6 hour stretches before waking to eat then goes back to sleep, but she usually sleeps around 12 hours at night. On the flip side she's not a great daytime napper.

Every baby is different so don't think at some magical week or month they will sleep thru the night. I have an almost 6months old n she has only slept thru the night twice so far. I've learned her little eating schedule now thru trial n error lol so I know when to feed her before she would wake up n cry uncontrollably

My baby is exclusively breastfed. She started sleeping thru the night right at 10 weeks (10pm to 7am).  She's currently 4.5 months and still sleeping thru the night without waking
