Question about method of birth control

Hello. I am 18 and just lost my virginity 2 days ago to my boyfriend of over a year. I cannot be on birth control nor do I want to and so we used a condom and he pulled out. I want to continue to have sex with him but is it safe to rely on just a condom and pulling out? I also use the NFP method too where I track my fertile days and we made sure to have sex when i wasn't fertile. I really cannot get pregnant right now as I am only 18 and will be starting college soon so is it okay to rely on condoms and pulling out? Or is that too risky? Any advice and personal experience would be appreciated thank you so much!
