Car Seat Help

First time dad here. We have a Graco Snugride 35 infant car seat. When placing our week old baby in the car seat, it seems to be very tight on her neck.

She tends to point her head to one side, which I've read is a good normal breathing posistion. But I feel like she couldn't face her head forward if she tried without having her chin sitting on her chest. I feel like I'm putting her in correctly, but I feel like I'm missing something. I'm trying not to let her slouch and I'm sitting her as tall as I can.
