Bullying

I have twin girls who are 6 years old, and they judt came inside crying :( They told me how the older neighborhood kids like ages 7-8 called them losers, all because my daughters did not want to play their game because they didn't know how. They are the sweetest little girls and were completely baffled by this name calling. I went out there right away and simply told the kids if they were going to bully the smaller kids and start name calling they were not welcome to play in my yard on my swing set and that they needed to go home until I spoke with their parents. Did I do the right thing?!
