I don't get attached

For the last five months, you don't think you can get attached to a person when your a careaid. I'm a casual. I don't get the same residents every day because I don't want to get attached. Well one day, the most amazing man moved into the home I work at. He stole my heart. Im not sure if he was my favorite resident but he made a dent in my heart. He made me laugh every time I saw him. He always had a way of putting a smile on my face. He was always so happy to see me when I walked in the room. I don't think anyone will ever understand that this man was a gift from god. I took two weeks off for my sisters wedding. When I came back, he was gone. He passed away. I tried not to cry at work but a piece of my heart fell apart. This man had the biggest heart that I ever knew of. He was so amazing. I'll never forget you T.G.T <3 Thanks for letting me vent <3
