Teachers and summer day care

Any teachers out there that have to go part time at their daycare in the summer to save their baby's spot? I have to and have mixed feelings about it. I just feel weird that im not working and she's at daycare. I just keep telling myself I can get all my errands/chores/and new year prep while she's there. Then on our days together I don't have to worry about anything but loving on her. Did anyone else have to do this?
