Think about deep topics... Questions ... Like something you don't know like "what's the most embarrassing,funny ,scary, exciting,once in a life time thing that's every happened to you?"  What do u want from life .... Bucket list? Lol

Try exploring a topic you know that he is interested in and starting a conversation based off of a fact or new development in that topic. I often start deep conversations about the environment and Space because I know my fiancé is passionate about both. Often I will google all kinds of topics that involve both and we talk for hours.
