Cops called on 3 month old
I don't know whether to be angry or amused. Or perhaps a bit of both.
So I have a 14 week old baby girl, almost 15 weeks. She has been testing out her lung powers lately and getting louder with her crying or screaming, especially when I'm at work. I work full time and her dad is the stay at home parent.
Well, today our annoying neighbors (mutual hate relationship, they are big assholes,) decided to call the cops on my baby. They said there was a domestic disturbance/abuse complaint. My fiance allowed the officers to check out our daughter and even asked them to come inside to inspect our apartment just so they could see it's a normal baby crying/screaming and our walls are just thin.
He was pretty angry over the situation at first. Once I got home from work (literally happened 20 minutes before,) he was calm and our neighbors where spying through their blinds.
He was scrolling through Facebook as I was feeding the LO, and he sees an article about a father abusing his 2 month old baby with hot sauce or something like that. His emotions got the best of him and he could help but cry and say, "I know I'm a good father so tell me why things like this can happen but I get the cops called on me for no reason?" It was just so heartbreaking because he really is an amazing father. Our daughter loves him dearly, she's such a daddy's girl. She just gets frustrated because she doesn't have boob on tap and hates waiting, plus is starting to teeth.
I really just want to go throat punch our neighbors or key their damn precious sports car! Ugh
