what makes someone dominate!?

I had asked this question to several different people, what makes you dominate? 
I have been told because I pay the bills and make the decisions. But doesn’t that make you just a provider!? 
Because I am. Yousound cocky!!

Then they asked me. 
Me dominance it’s not really something you say you are, it’s who you are it’s from the sound of your voice to the way you carry yourself, the way you maintain and control a situation. How you just shut it down!!

So how people of eve & glow, what do you think makes someone dominate!?

These questions are based upon relationships.. it was a discussion that was between married males and females

Yeah we are humans, we don't have dominant or submissive sides. People are so quick to erroneously project characteristics of animals on us. Nothing makes you dominant or submissive.

I think there's way more to it than this person is dom and this person is sub.

My boyfriend would be a dominant person within his friends. He has some that are very macho, but it's because they overcompensate that you know upon meeting them that they don't run anything. They're all hot air so to speak, but put those friends somewhere else without him and there's a new "dom".

I think if this is specifically our relationship that I'm the more predominantly in charge person of the two of us, but at the same time he is as well because he is calmly involved in everything. I'd like to say I call all of the shots, but with everything I do he either accepts it or declines it and vice versa. It's very much so a partnership where we interchange who's the boss at what time.
