Annovultion and Clomid

Taryn • Mon, Jun 19 • Married to the most amazing man in the world! :) Trying to conceive our first baby. His 3rd & my 1st - Currently on Clomid 50mg - PCOS affects my fertility - Liberty University- Ultra Conservative Right Wing Republican- Trump Train

So I went to the doctor this past Thursday. He did an exams and chatted with me a bit to see what was going on. I told him that I have crazy irregular periods and even though my husband and I have been together for 3 years, we haven't been able to get pregnant regardless of the fact that we have regular sex and use no contraception. He did some blood work and a quick test to see if I was ovulating. Well, based off the in office test, the results were inconclusive due to the fact that my CM didn't show "ferning" the way he said it should.

Fast forward to a super long weekend waiting for results. My progesterone level is a .4 and shows chronic anovulation. *sigh*

So now, I'm waiting on him to call in a prescription of clomid to the pharmacy. He has no real reason why I should be infertile since I'm an otherwise healthy individual.

So ladies, what's your clomid experience?

How were your pregnancies after an infertility diagnosis? How hard was it to get pregnant while taking this or other fertility medications?
