How much do you trust Facebook Marketplace?

I see people posting packs of diapers, formula, and baby food all the time on Facebook Marketplace. I get furniture from there all the time and I've sold my own things on there before, but I don't know if I can really trust that those baby essentials aren't tampered with? Has anyone else bought those from there before? How did it go?

I wouldn't do it. A lot of people selling stuff like that are most likely not the most desirable or trustworthy people to get stuff from.

I wouldn't buy any formula but diapers and wipes should be ok.  Most of the people selling that sort of stuff on there are couponers selling off their stockpile.  They are usually not evil people trying to hurt anyone but using this as their way of making money.

I've only got fabric and other sewing tools. Yesterday I went to get an outdoor bed with a bug net for my newborn... We are going to some Lake a few weeks after she's born. The lady told me that she never used and it was still on the package, when we got home I opened and smells like cigarettes and has cats hair... This has been my only bad experience with Facebook marketplace.
