Adoption

I have a four year old daughter who has never met the man who helped make her. I've always felt so guilty for not providing her with the father that she deserves. My boyfriend came into the picture when she had just turned 2, and my daughter let him know very matter of factly that he was her daddy after only a few months. He has loved her as his own since day one, they've always shared a special bond. Seeing it makes me think of 2 souls who just recognized each other. No one could convince her that he wasn't hers and my bf decided pretty early on that he was always going to be her daddy no matter what. On father's day this year he surprised me in front of my family with the adoption papers all filled out just required my signature and that of 2 witnesses. She finally has her daddy and no one will ever be able to take that from her! My heart is so full of joy!
