thoughts??? 38.5 weeks/2cm/90%effaced

So my mucus plug came out Monday. Just wanted to add where my body stands as of today. Anyway, went to the doctor and he said my baby is 8lbs!! I'm 5'1 and he said his head hasn't dropped and that it's still high. He's concerned that the baby's head wont drop and that we will have a problem at delivery given my pelvic size.. saying his head and shoulders may not be able to make it out vaginally. And suggested I get induced if he doesn't come over the weekend naturally. I had the option to see a specialist to confirm his "assumptions?" So we decided to wait till Monday and then decide. If I really can't deliver my baby vaginally due to my body and baby size. Then I have no choice but to get a c-section. Any thoughts out there? I'm a FTM and need input! Again, I'm 90% effaced and 2CM dialated
