Should I get highlights?? My hair is like a light/dark brown. And I'm wanting something different but I don't wanna ruin my hair. I've never dyed my hair either.

I love your hair! If you want anything like that I'd make sure they are thin/ small highlights. Since your hair is kinda dark you don't want full on bright blonde highlights. Trust me you'll regret that. But maybe some  darker blonde highlights or maybe bright blonde just smaller sections of hair.

When I got my hair dyed it was a reddish purple since my hair is a dark brown. So maybe try something not permanent if decide to get highlights. Hope that helps.☺

If I was looking for a change I wouldn't go with highlights they are high maintenance which means they are expensive and time consuming to keep up with

Maybe cut it shorter than you usually do
