wth is this

So I'm 5dpo now and on 3dpo I had slightly heavy spotting that had a clot. Being as it was too early for implantation I figured I had just started my period early. Well this morning I had this.. in guessing it's old blood? I've never had this color blood before in my life! It was mixed with a lot of mucus. I also had really really bad cramps on my spotting days. Today it feels more dull than anything but has calm waaaaay down. I still don't have a clue to why I was bleeding in the first place but does this look like old blood to anyone else?
