Alcoholic? If someone cant just drink a few beers just to drink they have to drink to get super drunk or drunk most of the time that they drink does that count as an alcoholic? (Not an everyday drinker tho)

An alcoholic would be someone who needs alcohol everyday to the point where it interferes with their life. Wanting to be drunk if he/she is drinking isnt an alcoholic thats just someone who wants to be drunk.

It's an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. I don't think I'd say alcoholic but if they drink just to get drunk every time, I personally wouldn't want to be around that.

If they can't control their drinking, or can't stop then yes they are. No matter if it's every day or a few times a week if there's no control when it starts that is the problem

To me, that's just someone who wants to get drunk af and go crazy when they go out. I'd say an alcoholic is somebody who NEEDS alcohol everyday.
