Your vagina just went through a major trauma and is healing. You know what road rash looks like when it's healing? Now imagine sticking fluffy cotton in it. All the skin would grow into the fluffy cotton.

Unless you want your vagina skin healing into a tampon only to have you rip it out again, I would firmly suggest you listen to your doctor. Pads suck but not as bad as ripping fresh new skin out of your vagina  would suck.

They say six weeks for a reason. I know it sucks so bad but you really need to wait six weeks. Try some diaper rash cream if it's that pad rash bullshit (it's a life saver!)
