Pooping Relief for Newborn?

I have a 2 week old daughter who weighs approximately 6 pounds and is having trouble pooping. She's getting the poop out but it seems to be really painful on her when it's coming out. She cries and kicks her legs as though she may be bracing herself to try to help push it out. Is there anything I can do to help ease the pain for her?

I'm not sure how to explain this so hopefully I dnt just confuse the heck out of yu but try bending her legs up towards her belly like if she is sitting like a frog. When my daughter was constipated this is what Id do to help her get it out.

Help her by doing bicycle kicks with her legs. It helps work on everything. Do that a few time each day.

Same happened with my daughter too she was not going for poop then I started to drink fennel seed water .. I boiled the seeds and was drinking it and that God it helped her .. now she is 8 months old and same happens too sometimes but she is on her solid food so I give her prune paste in alternative days .. hope it will help u too😊

Is it solid or mushy? I've been told by my pediatrician that babies digestive tracts are just really immature and a lot of times they will "strain" or fuss when pushing it out, not because it hurts, but because it's hard work to get them out.
I would talk to your child's pediatrician before giving anything to help with constipation, because if she's pooping, it's likely that she's not constipated and just doing normal baby things.
