bleeding 5 days pp(kind of TMI)

So I know I probably over did it Sunday and kind of today because I had to take him to the doctor(hes suppose to have a one week checkup Thursday but he had some rectal bleeding so I wanted him to get checked) but the rest of the day I've been resting and I just woke up about 40 minutes ago to feed him and such and went to the bathroom and my bleeding was dark red, kind of watery and a decent amount. And there was a decent size string still coming out after I peed. So I changed my pad and now it's bright red. Still a decent amount. Is that normal?
