any experience w/ 4th degree tears? helppp please!!!

Did anyone else get 4th degree tears during delivery? My babies heart rate started dropping and they had to get her out, which resulted in the doctor using forceps. I'm just struggling.. it's only been a week and a half but I am wondering how the healing process went for others who had the same tear??

I only had a second degree tear as well as swelling and internal tearing. I pushed for 3 1/2 hours and had a 9 lb 7 oz baby! 😳 Not gonna lie the first month was awful but every day got better. I suggest taking it easy and resting, I would start to feel better and go for a walk and then hurt even more the next day. Take lots of sitz baths and use     tucks pads and dermoplast until the stitches heal. I'm now 3 months PP and still having pain (mostly just during sex or any sort of touching of the torn area plus my bladder is slightly prolapsed) so I'm working with a pelvic floor therapist and I think it's helping. Basically, time is your best friend. I had no idea it could take so long to recover but that's how it goes for some of us.

I had a 3rd degree tear (almost a 4th) and it was rough for the first 3 weeks. To be honest I didn't know if it'd ever be normal down there again and I was worried about it. Pooping was a struggle but the tucks pads were a lifesaver. 
I'm 7 weeks postpartum now and everything feels great and has healed well. 
Just definitely take it easy and keep everything clean and if there are concerns talk to your doctor.
