What milk are you giving your baby?

After stopping formula or breastfeeding. Goats milk? Cows milk? Or soy milk? Or what are you using. I started to give my baby whole milk & she is getting a diaper rash and I think it's bc of it. So I'm switching her back to formula.

I read soy is not good for them. But I will be doing whole milk. The fat in it is essential and really good for them and their growing brains. And also a little almond milk.

The next best in terms of calcium and protein is actually oat milk, whatever that is. I am going to look for it at Whole Foods this week. My ds cannot tolerate any dairy at all. Coconut is also ok, but doesn't have the  protein. If you use an alternate milk you just want to be sure to get the nutrients via food, which is totally fine! Milk is not actually vital for their bodies, so it will be ok!

Whole cows milk. She's been eating whole milk yogurt since about 8 months and tolerates that fine so hopefully there won't be any problems.

I'm still nursing him, so there is no real need of giving him more extra milk to drink but if we are eating a dish that contains   vegetal milk or cows milk like lasagna, some kinds of pasta, croquettes or dairy in form of cheese, butter, yogurth or whatever we let him try it because he is already 1 and we can start to introduce it.  We are doing it that way because milk is just one ingredient, so he will continue to have the chance to eat carbohydrates, vegetables, meat and whatever he needs or wants to and at the same time introduce dairy products that right now are not essencial to him but are important to develop his palate and to make them explore new flavors.

My sons on follow on milk, formula for 1-2 year old and contains loads of nutrients they need. He has one bottle of that at bedtime and plenty of cows milk in dairy products through the day. He loves his yoghurts ☺️

I initially switched to while milk but it gave my son terrible diarrhea.. so his Dr. recommended soy milk or lactose free milk. We tried soy and no more diarrhea.
