What do you think is an acceptable age gap in a relationship?

How big of an age gap is too much for you? My boyfriend is 15 years older than me. I'm 22 he's 37. I'm perfectly comfortable with it and we're very happy together. Just wanted to see some other opinions 😊

Im 18 and my boyfriend is 26 and we have a little one on the way.. i love being younger then him.. and he loves it too.. but i lied in the beginning it was to late cause he was in love.. he was hurt at first but got over it and we are so inlove and forget our age difference everyday... it made me grow up so much faster then all my friends.. i now fit in with older people now and we are happier as can be. We been together for 3 years.

Large gaps are at an increased risk for power imbalance, incompatibility and controlling/abusive behaviour. It's by no means guaranteed. Abusers come in all ages, they just tend to target people younger than them.

Barring those obvious deal breakers as long as you're an adult and feel comfortable with it there's nothing wrong with it. Personally, I'm 36 and can't imagine ever having anything in common with someone more than 10 years younger than me.

I'm 23 and my fiance is 43. I don't care about the age gap. It doesn't bother me and I don't care what other people think. It's none of their business and not their problem.

It shouldn't matter what other people think. Ultimately your own opinions is what really matters. If you truly love someone age really is just a number.
