why is it so hard to make friends...?😞

I have friends, but nobody I can truly talk too. I'm from a big city, but work in a small town with a population of about 300 people. I'm a prek teacher, and I'm the only person of color at my job, and even then I'm mixed. I feel so out of place, even in the city I live in. If you're not either black or white, you don't fit in. You can't be both. It sucks and I'm tired of trying to make friends but being left out and/or not having anything in common with people.
