So my husband and I are TTC. We are in our early twenties (24 and 23 respectively) but we have good reasons for TTC now. Other than the fact that we really want a child, both sets of our parents are very up in age and we want our kids to be able to know their grandparents.

I'm graduating undergrad with my bach im psychology in December (I plan to be preggers by then). If all goes as planned, my baby will be around 1 year old when I start a doctoral program for psychology (psyD) .

My husband does emergency call taking, he works 12 hr shifts and as of right now he works 7pm to 7 am. Its rotating so one week he works m-t-f-sa-su and then the next week he works he only works Wednesday and Thursday. I k now my mom wants to be a help too.

I'd love some feedback from ladies who are in a similar position, or who have completed a doctoral program, or even graduate school. It'd be a huge help to gauge what I'm in for. Im totally open to advice!
