Baby girl name!

I've always been set on using Beatice as a middle name, since it was my grandma's middle name. But a couple of weeks ago, my cousin said that she thought when my child gets older, she will be picked on for that middle name. Should I shorten it to Bea, or do you think she was just being ignorant? Thanks, ladies❤❤
