shaving bikini line?

Okay, weird question but when I shave my bikini line I get this horrible patch of ingrown hairs. It looks like a teenagers face down there. 😂 I've tried waxing, shave creams and lotions. Any other ideas?

Use a sharp new blade, rise the blade off often while shaving, use a mild soap, and a moisturizer or something to calm your skin

A razor with fewer blades helps me. The ones with more blades just scrape over it more than is needed. I also only shave after my whole shower is finished, and I use coconut oil soap (Any kind of Shea Moisture brand works), not shaving cream. Everyone's different, but change your razor first to see if that helps. It helped my legs too--no more razor burn! I get the cheap Venus ones.

I had that happen every. Damn. Time.

Now- after 3 ish years it stopped.

I exfoliate every day down there with my loofa. I make sure I'm in a hot hot shower at least 15 minutes before I start to shave. I shave every other day or every 3 days. Every morning and night I put coconut oil on.

When I let it go longer and finally get back in my routine, I have to kind of start over with a few ingrown hairs, but over all I'm not like I used to be.

I totally feel you I hate it, it makes me feel so insecure I heard if you scrub with a brisel brush it helps and waxing does too but yea I hate that you have to grow back hair to wax it but it does help. Lol
