Boyfriend still has photos of him & his ex wife?!

I don't know if I'm just being jealous or insecure but ive asked him multiple times to get rid of them that I don't want them in our house' he told me he cut them up & threw them in the trash but I just found them again... he does however have two sons with his ex but the photos aren't of them being a family but of their wedding photos or just them two' some are of them being affectionate towards each other.. he keeps all theses photos in a box stored away in the shed with some other junk.

He explains they did have a messy divorce & she has always accused him of using her & that he never really loved her.. despite the fact they got married 4 months into the relationship because she got pregnant by accident.. I do sometimes feel like he's keeping them for his boys just incase she puts in their heads that he didn't love her at that time (she's said some really crazy shit in the past)..

I am currently pregnant with his baby (it was planned) and we just moved in together couple months ago. Is it my hormones ?

He has a whole life before he met you. It's not fair to ask him to get rid of that. Some people enjoy those memories and I probably would

Take a breath Mama he doesn't have these in frames in the Livingroom on display they are in a box.   You have to realize that is his past.  Even if it was a mess at points there had to have been something that was good in the relationship at some point.   Very likely he is saving them for his children.  Think of it this way.   Someday they may want them pictures.  Regardless of how it all went down that is STILL their Mom and Dad and it is a good thing for them to see them together and happy even just once even if just in a picture.

Even if my parents were divorced I would still like to have photos of them when they were together. Maybe that's weird but that would be my family history they'd be throwing away. This woman had two of his kids. That's a huge part of someone's life. You'll make your own memories and take your own pictures. If they're framed and hung up, that's different. A box in the garage or wherever they are isn't hurting anything. You can't erase his past.

I some what understand but at the same time that was the situation he was in for years. You can't just make him erase memories like that. Maybe he looks at them to give him a reminder to treat u better you never know what his real reasoning is behind keeping those pictures but just be happy he is not displaying them around the house that they are in a box where no one can see them.

The only thing that I'm annoyed with is the fact that he told you he had gotten rid of them yet hadn't. Guys are idiots sometimes and will say the easiest thing to get you off their case. 
I think it's okay if he keeps them in a box somewhere. I still have a few pictures of my ex even though I have no connection with him like kids or anything. It was apart of his life and it's something he may want to think about once in awhile. 
I know I look at the pictures of my ex and think of how happy we were in the pictures but then remember the entire time he was sleeping with like 4 or 5 different women.

You never kept photos or items from your ex? Relax. It'd be different if they were on display or his phone but they're in the shed! My husband still have 2 dirty pics of his ex wife in a box (never know when they'll end up on a billboard, she's crazy af 😂) he showed them to me years ago. I really wouldn't stress
