Okay so i have been "dating" this guys for about a month already. I am 20 and he is 24 with a 5 year old son. He always wants to see me late at night like around 9 or later. It bugs me because we dont spend time together. We are always texting or phone calls! The last time we hung out was about 2 weeks ago. Today i asked what he was up to and he told me he was waiting on people to go bike riding in Venice. I asked him with who? And he said whoever wants to go, so i just ignored it and went on social media and came across a post of his saying "whos down to go bike riding in Venice". WTF! So i texted him! The message is attached! Ladies i need advice, it seems like he isnt putting the effort! 😔😔

That's not called dating, that's called booty calls. If he always wants u late at night and never does anything with u during the day, but waits on others to call him to do stuff,  then... It's not DATING. It's booty calls.

2. Are you sure this is a relationship? I mean, if he's taking care of a kid, I get wanting I hang out later at night. But it could also just be sex. Only you know what ya'lls relationship is.

He could be really busy during the day, working to provide for his child, taking care of the child? Have you met the child yet? I know from my own preference that if something were to happen to me and my husband, and I were to date someone else, I wouldn't want my child around the other person until I knew it was 100% going to work. I don't want my child to get attached and then be hurting if something were to happen. Is the mother okay with you? (Either way it's not okay) but the mother could be saying that if the child is around you then he isn't going to see him. Immature, yes.. but some woman are like that. There's many things that could be going on. You want to have an adult relationship then you need to talk to him about it, let him know what you're feeling, what you think is right. Closed mouths don't get fed, you have to put in effort too and if you're not saying anything then he's under the impression that you're okay with it.

Don't let the "babes" and "I miss you's" fool you. If he wants to see you he'll make time. Some people talk about the time aspect and the child aspect but I once dated a man the same age with a 2year old daughter and he'd find time even if it was only 20 mins between commitments. He clearly has time to bike to Venice and realize that when you pointed out the fact that he didn't ask you, he neither asked you nor apologized but deflected. Cut your losses and get you a new man 👌🏾
